GUI DesignLatest Image  Here is the prototype, or mock-up of the user interface for the Network Auditor. The main page is as below.  On the main page the user sees other computers on the network, along with how many pages they've seen that the user has not checked, as well as the chat messages that they have seen that the user hasn't. The user can sort the information from the other computers by clicking on one of the three "sort by" sections above the computer information. To see the information from a certain computer, simply click the "view" link. That leads you to the page below.  This page displays the information for the computer Intelligamer. In the top section it displays images of sites that the computer has visited. In the bottom section is shows chat log for that computer. These are some basic sketches of different ideas for the graphical user interface. The first version lets you view all of the users at once, and lets you focus on one aspect or the other. You can also single out a certain user to view only their data. This version shows all the user info on one page, and to see more you need to scroll down. On this one the front page keeps an updated number of how many pages that you have not seen as well as how many MSN messages you have not seen have passed by. You can sort by name, pages not seen, or messages not seen. To view a user's info, click on the view link to make a new tab with their info. This will be more detailed later.
